Putrajaya’s Landscape Maintenance Costs RM42mil
KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian government confirmed an expenditure of RM42mil for the upkeep of Putrajaya’s landscape over the past decade.
Over 1,800 Hectares of Greenery Maintained
Dr. Zaliha Mustafa explained that the funding was used to maintain an area of 1,873 hectares, including well-known public parks and recreational spaces.
Parks and Public Spaces Included in the Budget RM42mil
The budget covered Taman Saujana Hijau, Taman Rimba Alam, Taman Pancarona, Taman Putra Perdana, Taman Warisan Pertanian, buffer zones, and a 38% lakefront area.

Additional RM2.6mil for ASEAN-Related Enhancements
