Police Investigate Hit-and-Run Case

KUALA LUMPUR: A hit-and-run accident on the Bukit Jalil Highway has led to the arrest of a 31-year-old man. The accident, which occurred on Nov 15, claimed the life of a seven-year-old girl and injured her parents.

Details of the Incident

ACP Mohd Zamzuri Mohd Isa of the Kuala Lumpur Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department (JSPT) announced the arrest on Tuesday (Nov 19). He revealed that the suspect was taken into custody at the JSPT headquarters.

Young Girl Succumbs to Injuries

The crash, which occurred around 9:50pm, left the victims sprawled on the road. Good Samaritans transported the family to a hospital, where the young girl succumbed to her injuries while receiving medical care.

Dashcam Evidence Shared Online

A 28-second dashcam recording of the accident has gone viral on Facebook. The footage shows a luxury car speeding, hitting a motorcycle, briefly stopping, and then driving away.
