Time-Sensitive Medical Aid

PETALING JAYA: For individuals experiencing cardiac arrest, immediate action can be the difference between life and death. MyresQ was created to expedite assistance by connecting nearby responders with patients in need.

Nationwide Success in Emergencies

Since its launch in March, MyresQ has handled 459 cases nationwide. Of these, 127 were cardiac arrests, with the rest involving fainting or chest pain. The app also features an extensive AED database with 360 devices and 5,805 certified rescuers.

Inspired by Real Events

Dr. Mohd Afiq Mohd Nor, co-founder of MyresQ, shared that a lack of CPR knowledge during a 2022 incident prompted the development of the app. Within three months, he and his team created and tested this life-saving tool.

Speeding Up Emergency Assistance

The app’s unique system ensures responders within a 500m radius can reach victims in under four minutes, significantly improving survival odds compared to ambulance times of 17–20 minutes.

Enhancing Survival with AEDs

Highlighting the importance of AEDs and CPR within 10 minutes, Dr. Afiq encouraged users to upload AED locations to make them accessible in emergencies.

Making Every Second Count

Designed for both trained responders and bystanders, MyresQ enables swift action and connects users to emergency services nationwide.
