Investigation Uncovers Key Findings

KUALA LUMPUR: Investigators have confirmed that chest injuries caused by blunt trauma led to the death of an elderly woman whose body was found in a freezer in Taman OUG.

Early Post-Mortem Report

In a statement on Thursday (Nov 21), Kuala Lumpur police chief Comm Datuk Rusdi Mohd Isa reported that initial post-mortem results identified the fatal injuries. “The findings point to blunt trauma to the chest,” he said.

Ongoing Probe and Collected Evidence

Nine statements have been recorded so far, with further investigations ongoing. Comm Rusdi noted that the full post-mortem report is awaited to establish the exact timeline of the incident.

Custody of the Alleged Perpetrator

The suspect, who was hospitalized, was released on Nov 20 and is now in custody at Brickfields police headquarters until Nov 26.

Long-Hidden Murder Details Emerge

Earlier reports allege that the son of the deceased committed the murder three years ago, subsequently storing her body in a freezer. Police were informed of the discovery by the suspect himself.
